About IQAC

Introduction

The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Manmohan Memorial Institute of Health Sciences (MMIHS) was established in 2075 as a central mechanism to monitor, maintain, and enhance the quality of education, research, and institutional governance. In line with national regulatory frameworks and international quality benchmarks, the IQAC ensures that all academic and administrative processes are driven by a commitment to excellence, accountability, and continual improvement.

Recognizing the vital role that quality plays in shaping competent health professionals, MMIHS is dedicated to fostering a robust quality assurance system that supports innovation, responsiveness, and relevance in health sciences education and services.

5. Stakeholder Engagement: Strengthen feedback systems and involve stakeholders in quality improvement processes.

6. Compliance and Accreditation: Ensure adherence to national regulatory requirements and support accreditation efforts.

Detailed IQAC Responsibilities

Quality Assurance & Standards
  • A. Implement criteria, benchmarks, indicators, standards and guidelines determined by regulatory bodies for quality assurance and accreditation
  • B. Support the University in formulating and implementing additional quality criteria, standards, and action plans
  • C. Implement all additional indicators and benchmarks for maintaining educational quality
Monitoring & Evaluation
  • D. Manage and monitor quality assurance to maintain institutional quality
  • K. Conduct gap analysis regularly and design plans for improvement
  • M. Conduct overall academic and governmental audits and submit reports to management committee
Capacity Building & Support
  • E. Supervise seminars, orientations, trainings for professional development
  • F. Facilitate self-study team and provide necessary support for report preparation
  • H. Provide technical assistance for expanding local, national and international relations
Documentation & Reporting
  • G. Document various programs and disseminate information for quality improvement
  • N. Ensure necessary reports and documents are made public through institutional website
  • P. Prepare annual reports on educational situation including plans, policies, programs and progress
Strategic Planning
  • I. Determine necessary policy, strategy, program, budget, and work plans for institutional operations
  • J. Provide technical support to the management committee
  • L. Facilitate implementation of Professional Ethics and Code of Conduct
External Review
  • O. Facilitate University Accreditation Commission's annual review and monitoring of accredited programs
