Use of AI tools in teaching and learning Context

An Interactive session on "how to use AI tools for effective teaching and learning" was conducted today. Mr. Mohan Niroula, as an expert, shared the importance of AI tools used daily to support lecturers, guide students, and improve overall academic delivery. AI tools make it easier for lecturers to create lessons, design assessments, and give faster feedback. Students benefit from personalized learning, instant explanations, virtual simulations, and study assistance available anytime. AI also helps institutions manage data, improve communication, and enhance classroom efficiency. In today’s learning environment, AI is not replacing teachers—it is strengthening the teaching process and giving students more opportunities to understand, practice, and succeed. With proper training, responsible use, and the right policies, AI can improve the quality of education. The session was much more interactive. About 55 faculty & staff members participated in the session.
