Bachelor of Nursing Science (BNS) (3 yrs)

Bachelor of Nursing Sciences (BNS) is a 3 year annual system program under the faculty of Medical and Allied Sciences aiming to produce a large number of junior and medium level nursing and public health workers.

The examination system of the program consists of two components namely internal assessment and the final examination. The internal Assessment possesses 20% and the final examination 80%. The students should secure 50% marks in theory and 60% in practical in order to pass the courses.

  • To raise the health status of the people of Nepal by pursing the strategy of primary Health.
  • To meet the objectives of Health for all.
  • To increase individual and community capabilities for involvement and self- reliance in health sector
  • To produce a large number of junior and medium level nursing and public health worker to deliver the basic health services to the people at various levels.

Criteria for admission

  • PCL Nursing holder
  • One year working experience after
  • Second division in aggregate
  • Must pass the IOM entrance exam.

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSc.Nursing) (4 yrs)

Bachelor of Sciences in Nursing (B.Sc. Nursing) is a 4 year annual system program aiming to produce junior and medium level nursing and public health workers

Goals

  • To produce junior and medium level Nursing and public health workers to deliver the basic health service to the people
  • To produce nursing professionals and graduates

Criteria for admission

  • Must have completed Intermediate in science (I.Sc.)or +2 in science or equivalent having 50 % marks in aggregate
  • Must pass entrance examination of IOM

Bachelor of Public Health (BPH) (4 yrs)

Bachelor of Public Health(BPH) is a 4 year annual program under the faculty of medical and Allied Science aiming to produce health professionals in public health sector

The examination system of program consists of two components namely internal assessment and the final examination . The internal assessment possesses 20% and the final examination 80% The students should secure 50% marks in theory 60% in practical in order to pass the course.

  • To produce health professionals in public health sector.
  • To produce quality manpower to meet the national needs.
  • Develop required skills in designing, analyzing and evaluating applied public health science research and management.

Bachelor of pharmacy (B.Pharmacy ) is a 4 year annual system program under the faculty of Medical allied Science aiming to produce internationally competent pharmaceutical work force

Bachelor in Science in medical Laboratory Technology (B.SC. MLT) is a 4 year program aiming to produce internationally competent Laboratory professionals

  • To Integrate basic scientific knowledge with diagnostic services .
  • To assess competency-based learning after specified period .
  • provide a good theoretical and practical education for students who plan to work with in the field of medical laboratory technology and science .
  • Able to establish and manage a clinical or research laboratory

  • Must have completed +2 in Science of pcl lab (CMLT)
  • Must have passed higher secondary level with physics, chemistry and biology with an average 50%
  • Must pass entrance examination of IOM
